Disgust This man had tigers, lions, wolves, monkeys, bears, etc. There is no reason why he should be able to own dangerous animals like these. They deserve to have wide open space to roam and not kept in small cage, and not to mention all the hazards that come with owning these animals!
Death Toll: 18 rare bengal tigers were shot dead by police, 17 lions, 8 bears, 3 mountain lions, 1 wolf, and 1 monkey lost their lives. One of the monkey was killed by a big cat but the rest of the animals were captured alive, but it was only like 6. I am angry at the police too for just shooting them, they did not even try to get tranquilizers. And their "owner" had just been released from prison a month earlier, clearly this man was disturbed and had run ins with the laws but still did not seem to get the police to check out his "farm".

What I am making this journal for is to bring awareness about this issue, people should not be allowed to own exotic animals as pets! If you agree (especially any Ohioans because Ohio has some of the most lenient laws about about owning exotic animals!) THEN please SIGN THIS PETITION! It is on a legit site, change.org:

to protect human life is not an excuse to murder nature's endagered species. it's not like any human lives were at stake at the time right?
I just blame the cowardly prick who somehow thought releasing them was a good swan song.
Also I live in a big city in Ohio and there has been a black leopard spotted around town for months. The police haven't even cared about it, and even though it is a well known fact this black leopard is loose, I bet the police still aren't carrying any tranquilizers for if they ever come upon it or receive a call about it and will just shoot it dead.
Also the police maybe could of prevented this whole situation if they had bothered to check on this "farm". They received a bunch of calls about him and his animals, plus the living conditions and he had just gotten out of prison. Do they check up on this? No. I don't hate police but I do believe these batch of them aren't the brightest.
ANYWAY I'm not here to argue with you about this, I posted this journal to bring awareness to more people about the issue at hand: banning people from owning exotic animals. I'm trying to get people to sign the petition at change.org. I think we all can agree they no one should be able to own exotic animals.
